ABOUT US
Originally formed as a one-time side project for the 48 Hour Film Festival in Boston, Massachusetts, Burning Snowman was brought into fruition on the spring of 2004 from the hearts and minds of Peter Foti, Michael McQuilkin, Daniel Shea, and Landon Wong. The four friends came together after several years of attending, discussing and sharing a mutual excitement and aesthetic toward 20th century to modern day film/video, music and art from all around the globe. Their first project, Box Lunch, documents the very first collaboration shot and completed in a marathon weekend. After completion and local screening of that first project, the shared encouragement amongst each other (that can only come about through a communal respect and genuine appreciation for each other’s talents) formed the seed of what would become Burning Snowman.
Past projects/productions members of the group have been involved in include televised skit and improvisational comedy, a nationally recognized documentary/biography/film and live music and studio engineering/production work.
The goal of Burning Snowman is to generate and produce these creative endeavors as an outlet for all to enjoy. Festivals, DVD releases, plays, comics, performance, written essays and animation- we love creating it and we would love to share it with you.

LANDON WONG producer - sound - script supervision A Snowman from the beginning, Landon provides aid in the production process while stressing out on schedules and organization. To escape from the stress, he enjoys cooking in the kitchen while stealing recipes from culinary websites and magazines. He also finds solace in reading comix and scavenging old instruments and vinyl produced during the golden age of recording in record stores and certain online auction sites; he is currently searching for more productive hobbies. |
MICHAEL McQUILKIN producer - writer - director Drunk. Utterly intoxicated with power. Feverishly cobbling together every thought, idea, and vague incling in such a manner that presents the observer with the illusion of it all making sense. Sometimes,when no one is looking, it actually does. Wearing non-prescription flight goggles is not one of those times. Mike also enjoys illustrating, composing, computing, and avoiding his distaste for outrageous biographical blurbs.

REBEKAH WHITE production coordinator - AD Rebekah is really bossy, so wearing the hats of AD and Production Coordinator really appeal to her. Plus she likes kittens. So she's not all that bad.
